This past week was anything but normal. We were out for 2.5 days for snow. The first 2 days it was just ice and miserable weather, however, it gave us Baby Boy's birthday off with him so we were psyched! On Friday though it started dusting around 9 am and didn't stop until that night. The kids were overjoyed and pretty soon class turned into snowball fighting and by 12:30 our school had been emptied.

This was right as the snow began to fall...Check out that cute little snow bunny, yes she wore ears, on the left!
This was around 11am from the teacher lounge window.
Signs for the superhero obstacle course.
This gave me much needed time to work on the musical sets at school and get some last minute touches done for Baby boy's 3 Year Old birthday party. We were combining parties with our good buddy Kason who was turning 4. Baby Boy and Kason always hug each other tight when we get home from school and they both wanted a superhero party. Kason's mom, Leianne is one of my dearest friends and I consider her one of the most intelligent, disciplined, loving moms I know. We were both a little worried that the weather would keep people away from the party but WE WERE WRONG. People were tired of being cooped up inside and needed to let them children RUN WILD!!

Leianne made him a bat symbol and silly face..knows my kiddos well!
Wearing his shirt with attached cape to match Kason!
Everyone in face paint! Batman, Spiderman, Batgirl and the Joker!!
This is how Batman eats his goldfish!!!
We were initially going to have the boys party at Leianne's in-laws home but quickly booked the gym at our school. This turned out to the best decision ever as were able to pack in many families, put in a bounce house, set up a superhero obstacle course and basically let the kids run free....while they were being chased by superheroes of course !!!

My sweet sweet high school students volunteered to dress up like BatMan and Spider Man for the party. I have never in my life been more impressed with two boys who loved all over those kids and played with them!
Amanda, Kason's aunt made this AWESOME cake for the boys. She always does a great job..she made Adam's 30th birthday cake 2 years ago. I was sooo impressed...it tasted just as great as it looked and was swirled colors on the inside with chocolate filling!!
Another one of my sweet sweet students, who is more like family, that came and helped us at the Superhero obstacle course. This is Baby Boy learning how to do a Wonderwomen warm up!
Kason was also earning his wonderwomen warm up badge by doing push ups!

The rest of the day was pure SUPERHERO SILLINESS!!

Eating cake and ice cream with the superheroes!
Baby Boy was glued to Batman and only wanted him for the whole party.
Kason felt the same way about Spidey!
Baby Boy asked for 2 juices, one for him and one for Batman so that they could have big muscles!
This batman pinata was the best constructed thing I have ever seen. It took swings from every kid, at least 20 and then Spidey and the older kids went to town on it!
It finally broke and the kiddos went running for goodies!
Silly face Batman family. I'm so thankful for this family..it hard to get shots of all 5 of us!!
Super women :)
