Proud Mama

I meant to blog about this last week but in the whirlwind of moving, getting super sick and getting progress reports out I forgot.

Goober earned money during the move by going above and beyond what he should have helped us with. For example, he earned a dollar loading up the car with mom while all the older guys loaded the UHaul. He earned even extra money when he had to take out the trash which had Ribbit's diapers in it (that is where the extra came in). He had about $2.50 total--he works for cheap :).
When we went to get him from Sunday school the following day his teachers were loving all over him, telling us how much they were going to miss him since we were moving. Then his teachers told us that he had given all he had in his wallet towards Operation Christmas Child and that money was going to help them make at least one more box!!
Adam and I were so proud..we didn't even know that he had taken his wallet to church that day. He normally puts our check in the offering plate or we give him a quarter. We told him that his actions told us a lot about what was in his heart and that we knew that God was growing him up into a special young man!

I'm also proud of Goober-she has graduated from her high chair to a booster seat with no problems at all. She is starting to eat more foods-sliced peaches, fruit cocktail, sloppy joes. She still is very opinionated about food but I think that comes with being two. She loves loves loves her big girl bed!! She also loves both pair of her boots...she always wants to wear them. She can count to five all by herself and she will chase us and count to five!! She knows almost every animal in her "bigger, stronger, faster" book---even dolphins, ants, and elephants. The only one she gets hung up on are the eels-she calls those dragons :)

Here are some more pictures from October....WHAT A BUSY MONTH!!!!
